Former Governor Eliot Spitzer Updates YIMBY on 420 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Composed of three contemporary towers on the southern side of the Williamsburg Bridge, 420 Kent Avenue is nearing completion of both exterior and interior work. Designed by ODA Architecture, the upcoming triplet of staggered glass boxes are some of the first new buildings to be constructed as part of the residential building boom that has spread across the Williamsburg waterfront. Spitzer Enterprises is the developer of the 550,000 square foot complex, and its 850 rental apartments will soon see move-ins commence. Crown Installation for New Jersey’s New Tallest Building Underway at 99 Hudson Street, in Jersey City

After topping-out at the end of 2018, 99 Hudson Street has become the tallest skyscraper in both Jersey City and all of New Jersey, standing 900 feet to its rooftop. The 79-story residential building will have 781 units with perfect uninterrupted views of the World Trade Center, the morning sun, and afternoon sunsets to the west. Perkins Eastman is the designer of the tower, while the developer is China Overseas America. Plaza Construction is the main contractor, while DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the structural engineer. Vidaris is in charge of the facade, which is now quickly making its way towards the crown.

Located at 543 West 122nd Street, the 33-story residential building stands 391 feet tall, with a total scope of over 300,000 square feet. It is designed by Incorporated Architecture & Design, while SLCE Architects is the executive architect. Savanna is the project’s developer, while Halstead Property Development Marketing is handling sales.

145 West 47th Street Gets Off The Ground, Set to Become Another Times Square Hotel

Located between Sixth and Seventh Avenue in Times Square, 145 West 47th Street will soon yield a new 343-key hotel. Designed by Berg + Moss Architects, the hospitality project is well under way, and the first floor is now being formed and assembled. The building will stand 27 stories high when complete, and have a total square footage of around 141,500 square feet. The property was sold by Stahl Real Estate almost three years ago for $101.2 million dollars, and TriBeach Holdings is the new developer.
