410 West 126th Street Tops Out in Harlem, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 410 West 126th Street, a 20-story mixed-use building in Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Peter Poon Architects and developed by Columbia International, the 169-foot-tall structure will yield 128,542 square feet with 92 apartments spread across 68,496 square feet, as well as 59,460 square feet of commercial space and 586 square feet for a community facility. The property will also include 47 enclosed parking spaces. The project site is located along West 126th Street between Amsterdam Avenue to the west and Morningside Avenue to the east.

212 West 93rd Street’s Façade Nears Completion on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work is approaching completion on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, the 65,000-square-foot project is being developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, which acquired the 9,000-square-foot plot from the Shaare Zedek Congregation for $34.3 million. The property will yield 20 units designed by GRADE New York and marketed by The Lindsey Stokes Team, a division of real estate brokerage Compass. Homes will range from one- to four-bedroom layouts with some full-floor penthouses. The property will also contain the Shaare Zedek Synagogue, which will have its own separate entrance on the first floor.

Columbia University’s Two-Building Expansion Nears Completion in Manhattanville, Manhattan

Construction is wrapping up on Columbia University‘s new two-building expansion on its Skidmore Owings & Merrill-planned Manhattanville campus. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with FXCollaborative, the Henry R. Kravis Building and the East Building, formerly known as the Ronald O. Perelman Center for Business Innovation, will yield a combined total of 450,000 square feet of classrooms, faculty offices, and lounge areas. Separating the two structures will be a landscaped public plaza and green space designed by James Corner Field Operations. The project site is bound by West 130th Street to the south, West 131st street to the north, the elevated Riverside Drive highway to the west, and Broadway to the east.

Foundation Work Underway for Columbia University Tower at 600 West 125th Street in Manhattanville, Manhattan

Excavation and foundation work are underway at 600 West 125th Street, the site of a 34-story tower on Columbia University‘s Manhattanville campus. Designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop with CetraRuddy Architecture as the executive architect and developed by the Trustees of Columbia University, the 391-foot-tall building will yield 175,000 square feet with 141,565 square feet of community facility space, 5,000 square feet of commercial space, and 142 residences for graduate students and faculty members. The property was once home to a McDonald’s and is located at West 125th Street and Broadway, directly across from The Forum and Wallach Art Gallery, also designed by Renzo Piano. LERA is the structural engineer for the project.
