250 Fifth Avenue’s 24-Story Expansion Progresses in NoMad

Work is progressing on the warm-colored masonry walls and windows of the 230-foot-tall, 24-story expansion at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad. Designed by Perkins EastmanPBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and developed by Flaneur Hospitality, the project also includes the renovation of the adjacent 115-year-old bank building designed by McKim, Mead & White. The property will eventually debut as The Fifth Avenue Hotel.

30 East 31st Street’s Signature Lattice Cladding Gets Closer to Completion in NoMad

Façade work is getting closer to completion at 30 East 31st Street, a 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential tower in NoMad. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate, the slender structure will yield 70,000 square feet and 42 units marketed by Reuveni Real Estate. Residences will average 1,700 square feet apiece with prices ranging from $1.65 million to upwards of $12 million.

Excavation Progresses Steadily for BIG’s Office Skyscraper at 3 West 29th Street in NoMad

Excavation and piling work is progressing at 3 West 29th Street in NoMad, site of a 34-story office skyscraper from Bjarke Ingels Group. Developed by HFZ Capital Group, the tower will stand 551 feet tall, making it one of the tallest structures in Midtown south of the Empire State Building. The project, which was formerly known as 29th & 5th, is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and will yield nearly 300,000 square feet. Pavarini McGovern, LLC is the general contractor for the development.

Madison House Nears Completion at 126 Madison Avenue in NoMad

Exterior work is still wrapping up on Madison House, NoMad’s tallest residential skyscraper at 126 Madison Avenue. Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the 805-foot-tall, 62-story tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Fosun Group and JD Carlisle. Douglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing of its 199 condominiums. The project also includes 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
