Demolition preparations are underway at 335 Eighth Avenue, the site of an upcoming seven-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by COOKFOX and developed by MAG Partners, the 200,000-square-foot structure will yield 188 residential units with 30 percent dedicated to affordable housing for low- and middle-income residents under the Affordable NY Program, as well as a 23,000-square-foot Lidl grocery store on the ground floor. Titan Industrial SVC Corp is the demolition contractor and Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 26th Street within the Penn South affordable housing cooperative, officially known as Mutual Redevelopment Houses.

Foundations are taking shape at 218 Front Street, the site of a two-building residential complex in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architect and developed and built by Chess Builders, the structures will yield seven stories and 218 rental apartments with 66 affordable housing units, as well as 350 square feet of commercial space and 180 square feet of community space. The site is bound by Front Street to the north and York Street to the south, and was formerly occupied by a one-story industrial warehouse and an open-air lumber yard.

Foundation work is finishing up on 111 Willoughby Street, a 40-story residential tower in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by The Michaels OrganizationTriangle Equities, and Geolo Capital, the 437-foot-tall structure will yield 205,000 square feet with 227 rental units, a 20,000-square-foot ministry center for the St. Boniface parish, and 1,814 square feet of commercial space. ZDG, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located by the intersection of Willoughby Street to the south and Duffield Street to the east.

Construction is finishing up on The Paxton, a 43-story mixed-use skyscraper at 540 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management, the 511-foot-tall structure spans 330,000 square feet and will yield 327 rental units in studio to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 137,075 square feet of office space and 33,000 square feet of retail space in the multi-story podium. MNS is handling sales and marketing for the homes at the property, which is located by the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street.

Lincoln at Bankside is opening its doors to residents at 5 Lincoln Avenue in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Brookfield Properties, the project features four 26-story towers with 921 residences, 40,000 square feet of amenities, a 32,000 square foot waterfront esplanade along the Harlem River, four new retail spaces, and 329 indoor parking spaces. Whitehall Interiors designed the residential interiors, which are split into 644 market-rate units and 277 affordable housing units. Following the 2017 creation of the Special Harlem River Waterfront Zoning District that was approved by the New York City Council, construction broke ground in May 2020 and topped out in October of 2021. Move-ins begin this month.
