Located at 124 East 14th Street, the 21-story building will yield a mix of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and will provide on-site amenities, dining facilities, and the Digital Skills Training Center, which is envisioned as a pathway to good-paying jobs for the next generation of technology professionals.
The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center has topped out in the World Trade Center complex as steel assembly continues. The 138-foot-tall Financial District structure is designed by REX with Davis Brody Bond Architects as the executive architect and developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Brookfield’s Manhattan West complex now includes a new Whole Foods Market within Five Manhattan West. The store occupies 60,245 square feet of the lower level of the building, which is located at 450 West 33rd Street in Hudson Yards.
Davis Brody Bond‘s 21-story tech hub known as Zero Irving is rising quickly at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square. Formerly named the Union Square Tech Training Center, the project is being developed by RAL Development and Suffolk Construction and will yield 254,000 square feet with affordable and market-rate office space for tech companies, retail, and dining facilities managed by Urbanspace.
The years-long initiative to renovate and repurpose the defunct Bayview Correctional Facility in Chelsea may never be revived following an abrupt cancellation by the NoVo Foundation and Goren Group in 2019. Referred to as the Women’s Building, the structure at 550 West 20th Street would have repurposed and expanded the former all-female prison, renderings of which have been released by Spacesmith and Davis Brody Bond.
