New York University has revealed renderings of a new public health school set to debut as part of its Greenwich Village campus. Located three blocks east of Washington Square Park, the project will establish much-needed facilities for the university’s rapidly expanding School of Global Public Health which offers a multidisciplinary program preparing students to reinvent the world’s public health models.

Fogarty Finger Architecture Proposes Retail Expansion at 15 Park Row in the Financial District

The Landmarks Preservation Commission recently reviewed proposals from Fogarty Finger Architecture to renovate and expand existing retail area within the landmarked 15 Park Row tower in Manhattan’s Financial District. The structure was originally constructed in 1899, then converted in the early 2000s to accommodate rental apartments with ground-floor retail area.

Residential Transformation Revealed for Classical Revival Library at 61 Rivington Street in Chinatown, Manhattan

Issac & Stern Architects and Picksell Studio are working with developer Horizon Group to transform a three-story Classical Revival style building in Chinatown, Manhattan. New renderings of the project offer a first look at the ongoing residential redevelopment located at 61 Rivington Street. The original structure was completed around 1903 and served as a downtown branch of The New York Public Library. The base of the building incorporates horizontally scored masonry that transitions into red brick at the second and third floors.
