Construction in Final Stages On Five-Story, 32-Unit Residential Project at 280 St. Marks Avenue, Prospect Heights

Construction is well underway on the façade and interiors of the five-story, 32-unit residential project under development at 280 St. Marks Avenue, in Prospect Heights. The latest progress on the structure was seen on a hard-hat tour attended by Commercial Observer. The latest building permits have the new building measuring 72,338 square feet and rising 50 feet to its main roof.


115 Broadway

Four-Story, 5,000-Square-Foot Mixed-Use Commercial Project Planned At 115 Broadway, Williamsburg

Brooklyn-based Cayuga Capital Management has filed applications for a four-story, 5,040-square-foot mixed-use commercial building at 115 Broadway, in South Williamsburg. The site is a 1,340-square-foot, wedge-shaped vacant lot bound by South 6th Street and Bedford Avenue. Retail space will occupy the cellar level, the ground floor, and an upper mezzanine level. Office space will take up the second floor, followed by community facility space on the third and fourth floors. Together, the retail and office space will amount to 3,785 square feet while the community facility space will total 1,168 square feet. Midtown South-based DXA Studio is the architect of record. The Marcy Avenue stop on the J and M trains is five blocks away.


230 Classon Avenue

16-Story, 142-Unit Mixed-Use Tower Filed At 230 Classon Avenue, Clinton Hill

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church has filed applications for a 16-story, 142-unit mixed-use building at 230 Classon Avenue, located on the corner of Willoughby Avenue in Clinton Hill. The project will encompass 153,606 square feet and rise 163 feet above street level. The ground through third floors will contain 25,264 square feet of space for the church, which will include a library, offices, meeting rooms, a privy, a coffee bar, among other spaces, The Real Deal reported. The residential units above should average 685 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will also be a 93-car garage on the ground and cellar levels. DXA Studio is the architect of record. The existing three-story rectory must first be demolished. The Classon Avenue stop on the G train is three blocks away.
