Three Three-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 916 Wilcox Avenue, Throggs Neck

Rosyln Heights, N.Y.-based Adee Group has filed applications three three-story, two-family houses at 916-920 Wilcox Avenue, in the Throggs Neck section of the East Bronx. The buildings will measure between 4,155 and 4,285 square feet. Across all three, the residential units should average a family-size 1,326 square feet apiece. There will also be eight off-street parking spaces between the buildings, two of which will be housed in a garage. Gerald J. Caliendo’s Briarwood-based firm is the architect of record. The 7,089-square-foot plot is currently occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in August of last year.


3839 Bronxwood Avenue

Four-Story, Six-Unit Residential Building Planned at 3839 Bronxwood Avenue, Williamsbridge

A Yonkers, N.Y.-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential project at 3839 Bronxwood Avenue, located between East 220th and 221st streets in the Williamsbridge section of the East Bronx. The new building will measure 5,666 square feet and its residential units should average 900 square feet apiece. There will be a single apartment on each of the ground and second floors, followed by two apartments across the third through fourth floors. Gino O. Longo’s College Point-based firm is the architect of record. The 3,052-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story building. Demolition permits were filed last July.


2426 Lyvre Street

Two Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Buildings Filed at 2426 Lyvre Street, Westchester Square

Dix Hills, N.Y.-based developer Maheen Farrukh has filed applications for two four-story, eight-unit residential buildings at 2424 and 2426 Lyvere Street, in the East Bronx’s Westchester Square section. The buildings will measure 5,763 square feet and 6,517 square feet, respectively. Across both, the residential units should average 708 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Michael DePasquale’s Pelham, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,155-square-foot property is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits, filed in September, indicate that crews began disassembling the structure earlier this week.


2047 Newbold Avenue

Revealed: Two-Building, 206-Unit Mixed-Use Project Filed at 2047 Newbold Avenue, Unionport

Bronx-based Procida Companies has filed applications for two mid-rise, multi-family mixed-use buildings at 2047 and 2049 Newbold Avenue, located in the East Bronx’s Unionport section. Renderings of the development have been revealed by The Real Deal. The filings indicate the two buildings will rise 10 and 11 stories each, encompassing 112,109 and 94,302 square feet respectively. The 11-story structure would rise along Westchester Avenue and the 10-story building would be located on Newbold Avenue.


3258 Waterbury Avenue

Twin Two-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 3258 Waterbury Avenue, Country Club

A Valhalla, N.Y.-based property owner has filed applications for two two-story, two-family houses at 3258 and 3260 Waterbury Avenue, in the East Bronx’s Country Club section. The new buildings will measure 4,232 square feet and 4,225 square feet, respectively. Across both, the full-floor residential units should average 1,774 square feet apiece, indicative of apartments with family-sized configurations. Each structure will also come with three off-street parking spaces. Gino O. Longo’s College Point-based firm is the architect of record. The 8,123-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in September.
