Two Four-Story, 60-Key Hotels Filed at 268 Williams Avenue, East New York

An anonymous Rosyln, N.Y.-based LLC has filed applications for two four-story, 60-key hotels at 268-272 Williams Avenue, on the western end of East New York. The buildings will measure 25,399 square feet each. Across both, hotel rooms should average 250 square feet apiece and will be located across the cellar through fourth floors. Manish Savani’s Jamaica-based firm is the architect of record. The 15,000-square-foot property is vacant.


3301 Atlantic Avenue

14-Story, 403-Unit Affordable Mixed-Use Project Filed at 250 Euclid Avenue, East New York

Non-profit affordable housing developer Phipps Houses has filed applications for a 14-story, 403-unit mixed-use tower at 250 Euclid Avenue, a.k.a. 3301 Atlantic Avenue, in the Cypress Hills section of East New York. The project will encompass 415,476 square feet and rise 143 feet to its roof. There will be 20,977 square feet of ground-floor retail, followed by residential units across floors two through 14, The Real Deal first reported. The apartments should average 936 square feet apiece and will all be designated as affordable.


344 Van Siclen Avenue

Four-Story, Six-Unit Mixed-Use Building Planned at 344 Van Siclen Avenue, East New York

An Ozone Park-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit mixed-use building at 344 Van Siclen Avenue, located on the corner of Belmont Avenue in the heart of East New York. The project will measure 6,550 square feet and contain 1,900 square feet of community facility space across the ground and cellar levels. The space will be utilized by a school. The residential units, which should average 775 square feet apiece, will spread across the second through fourth floors. Nyron Hall’s Brooklyn-based engineering firm is the applicant of record. The 1,900-square-foot site is currently vacant.


402 Snediker Avenue

Six-Story, 72-Unit Supportive Housing Project Filed at 402 Snediker Avenue, East New York

The Brooklyn-based nonprofit Community Counseling & Mediation (CCM) has filed applications for a six-story, 72-unit supportive housing apartment building at 402 Snediker Avenue, located in the New Lots section of East New York. Tenants at the project, dubbed Beverly’s Place, will have access to “an array of therapeutic, preventative, and wellness services” in the building, CCM stated when the project was revealed early last year.
