Reveal For Two-Story Retail Building At 159 Ludlow Street, Lower East Side

Late last summer, YIMBY reported on applications for a two-story, 2,126 square-foot retail building at 159 Ludlow Street, on the Lower East Side, and now Bowery Boogie has the project’s reveal, which will take the form of a glassy structure. Hesky Haim and Continental Worsteds are the developers, and DXA Studio is designing the project, which it calls the ‘glass box’. The building appears to include some form of rooftop garden, and will be available as event space. The lot is currently vacant and construction is expected to begin in 2016.
