Highbridge Community Development Corporation is responsible for the development, and the Briarwood Organization is handling general contracting.
Great Neck, N.Y.-based Global Management has filed applications for an eight-story, 35-unit residential building at 237 West 167th Street, in the West Bronx’s Highbridge section. The project will encompass 27,906 square feet and rise 74 feet to its roof. Its residential units should average 698 square feet apiece, which means rental apartments are likely in the works. Mohammad R. Badaly’s Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 7,500-square-foot lot is vacant.
