Permits have been filed for a 43-story mixed-use tower at 355 Exterior Street in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located off the Major Deegan Expressway between the 145th Street Bridge and Madison Avenue Bridge, the interior lot borders the Harlem River. Nearby transit includes the 138 Street – Grand Concourse subway station, serviced by the 4 and 5 trains and the 149 Street – Grand Concourse station, which is also serviced by the 2 train. The Lightstone Group under the 355 Exterior Street Associates LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

It appears that exterior progress has taken a step backward on Seaport Residences, a 60-story residential skyscraper formerly known as One Seaport at 161 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. Located on the border of the South Street Seaport District, the 200,000-square-foot building is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group LLC, with Ray Builders serving as the contractor. Groves & Co is the interior designer for the 80 units, which are being managed by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.

130 William Street’s Dark Exterior Nears Completion in the Financial District

Installation of 130 William Street‘s charcoal-colored curtain wall is approaching completion in the Financial District. Designed by David Adjaye of Adjaye Associates and developed by Lightstone with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, the 66-story residential skyscraper stands 800 feet tall and will yield 242 units marketed by Corcoran Sunshine. Prices for residences are expected to range from around $1,300,000 for a one-bedroom to $20,000,000 for a four-bedroom, full-floor penthouse.

Under the consortium of “FWRA LLC,” developers Richard Siu of F&T Group, John Liang of Young Nian Group LLC, and William Xu of United Construction & Development Group recently announced plans for the Special Flushing Waterfront District, a major redevelopment in downtown Flushing, Queens. Designed by Hill West Architects, the master plan would transform an underdeveloped swath of land bound by Flushing Creek, Northern Boulevard, College Point Boulevard, and Roosevelt Avenue into a mixed-use community, while simultaneously restoring and upgrading the neighborhood’s public waterfront access. The topped-out building is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Solow Realty & Development Group, which purchased the property along Billionaires’ Row 14 years ago for $25,550,000. Vidaris is the envelope consultant for the 237-foot-tall structure.
