Construction Breaks Ground on 38-Story Tower at 351 Marin Boulevard in Jersey City

Construction has begun on 351 Marin Boulevard, a 38-story mixed-use development in Downtown Jersey City. Located between 1st Street and Bay Street, the tower will bring 507 residential units, 8,000 square feet of commercial space, 203 parking spaces, and a 4,500-square-foot public plaza to the area. Designed by Hollwich Kushner in collaboration with HLW International, 351 Marin is a joint venture between developer KRE Group and Northwestern Mutual.

Journal Squared’s Next 72-Story Residential Skyscraper Rising Rapidly at 537 Summit Avenue, in Jersey City

Work on the second phase of Journal Squared at 537 Summit Avenue in Jersey City is progressing rapidly. Construction workers are pouring the floor slabs for what will become a 72-story residential skyscraper. The structure is set to stand 759 feet and become the tallest of the proposed trio of towers, of which one is already completed next door. All three are being designed by HWKN/Hollwich Kushner and Handel Architects. Kushner Real Estate Development is the developer of the entire site, which sits adjacent to the Journal Square PATH train station on a hill overlooking New York City. The second phase will yield 700 units, 18,000 square feet of retail space, and a gross floor space of roughly 1,000,000 square feet.

25 Kent Avenue’s Scaffolding Comes Down As Its Facade Goes Up in Williamsburg

Located in Williamsburg along Kent Avenue, between North 12th Street and North 13th Street, the full-block, eight-story structure at 25 Kent Avenue will soon contain over half a million square feet of office space. Combining 15-foot high ceilings for the office floors with waterfront views of Manhattan and Bushwick Inlet Park, future tenants will also have access to multiple outdoor terraces stepping up to a landscaped rooftop. The project is being designed by Hollwich Kushner and Gensler, and developed by Rubenstein Partners and Heritage Equity Partners.

485 Marin Avenue Opens for Leasing in Jersey City’s Historic Hamilton Park

KRE Group, developers of Jersey City’s Journal Squared towers, have now launched rental leasing for 485 Marin in the city’s historic Hamilton Park District. The development will yield the tallest buildings in Hamilton Park, which is more commonly known for its Victorian homes, brownstones, and tree-lined streets.

The building will bring a phenomenal amount of office space to the area, along with room for retail and production facilities. Rubenstein Partners and Heritage Equity Partners are developing the full-block eight-story structure.
