New renderings offer a first look at Pelham House, a forthcoming mixed-use residential property at 215 Fifth Avenue in Pelham, New York. Described as a transit-oriented development, the property will include 127 apartments, 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, 160 private parking spaces, and an additional 60 parking spaces available to the public.
Developers and elected officials recently joined to celebrate the completion of Peninsula 1B, the first affordable housing building in The Peninsula complex at 720 Tiffany Street in Hunts Point, The Bronx. The building comprises 183 income-restricted units and a modest collection of amenities.
The new Brooklyn Heights Public Library at 286 Cadman Plaza West is now complete and open to the public. Located on the border of Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn, the 26,000-square-foot library is the second-largest branch of the Brooklyn Public Library System, after the Central Library Headquarters.
Work is nearing completion on One Clinton, a 36-story residential tower at 280 Cadman Plaza West in Brooklyn Heights. Designed by Marvel Architects for Hudson Companies, the 409-foot-tall structure yields 295,000 square feet with 134 residential units, a 9,000-square-foot STEM research center, and One Clinton Street Library, a new public library replacing the Brooklyn Heights Library that formerly occupied the site. Consigli & Associates, LLC is the general contractor for One Clinton, which stands on a narrow parcel bound by Clinton Street and Cadman Plaza West.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Clark, an eight-story residential building at 310 Clarkson Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Designed by Jonathan Kirschenfeld Architect and developed by Hudson Companies, the structure yields 170 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $52,286 to $192,400.
