Permits Filed for 103-43 120th Street, South Ozone Park, Queens

A two-story house at 103-43 120th Street, in South Ozone Park, Queens, is about to bite the dust. Building applications have been filed for its imminent replacement, which will rise five floors, and span 8,580 square feet. Mang Wong of Pondosa, Inc. is designing the structure, which will have ten units in total, averaging 858 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals. Gorden Tan of 4918 Property LLC is listed as the developer, and demolition permits for the extant house have not yet been pulled.


Foundations Complete For 25-Story Hotel At 100 Greenwich Street

When YIMBY last visited the site of the 192-room hotel at 100 Greenwich in October 2015, the 25-story tower’s foundations were only beginning to take shape. Rebar was being laid out for the concrete foundation mat at the rear on the site, while the front portion was still under excavation. Three months later, the building is yet to breach ground level, but its foundations are virtually complete.
