A five-story residential building is nearing completion at 225 14th Street, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, by the border of Gowanus. The site is five blocks away from the D, N, R, and W trains. Harel Edrey of EDG Development is responsible for the development, and the same firm is also working on the design.

The building is five blocks away from the Houston Street Subway Station, and six blocks from the West 4th Street Subway Station, putting it near most every subway line, or more exactly, the A, B, C, D, E, F, M, and 1 trains. Brack Capital Real Estate is behind the condominium conversion and expansion of the original pre-war structure, and Reuveni Real Estate will be handling sales, according to a new teaser website.
Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 179 4th Avenue, on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus, in Brooklyn. The site is just two blocks away from the Union Street Subway Station, serviced by the D and R trains. The Whole Foods Market right on the Gowanus Canal is also nine blocks away. Vanguard Investors will be responsible for the development.
Today, YIMBY has the reveal for the updated design of 848 Lorimer Street, a six-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We last reported on the site in September, when the exterior featured arched masonry, and a modernist black metal façade with large windows. The new design raises the masonry up to the fourth floor, above which are two stories of curtain-wall glass windows.
The southern blocks of Park Slope saw permits filed for a small new development at 225 14th Street back in March of 2016, which were then modified substantially in April of 2017. Now, YIMBY has the reveal for the project, which will yield nine new condominiums.
