Permits have been filed for a 16-story residential building at 1810 Watson Avenue in Soundview, The Bronx. Located at the intersection of Thieriot Avenue and Watson Avenue, the development will be called Casa Celina and also have the address 1001 Thieriot Avenue. The corner lot is two blocks south of the St. Lawrence Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 train. New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is listed as the owner behind the applications. Developers for the project include developed Xenolith Partners, The Kretchmer Companies, ELH Mgmt., and JASA.

Casa Celina Will Create 200 New Apartments for Low-Income Seniors in The Bronx

City agencies have announced the development of an affordable housing project dedicated to low- and extremely low-income senior citizens in the Soundview section of The Bronx. Known as Casa Celina, it is a collaboration between NYCHA and the city’s department of Housing Preservation and Development with private entities Xenolith Partners, The Kretchmer Companies, ELH Mgmt., and the Jewish Association Serving the Aging, known colloquially as JASA.

Permits have been filed for a 10-story, 100 percent affordable mixed-use building at 1490 Southern Boulevard, in the Crotona Park East neighborhood of The Bronx. The site is three blocks away from the 174^th Street Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains, and ten blocks away from the Whitlock Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 6 train.
