The Jersey City Planning Board has approved proposals to construct a new six-story rental property at 316 Forrest Street in New Jersey. Located in the in the Jackson Hill section of Jersey City, the building is designed by Hampton Hill Architecture for an anonymous LLC based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
A new rendering from MHS Architects is the first to reveal a 12-story mixed-use building at 251 Grand Street in Jersey City, New Jersey. Liberty Harbor North Brownstone Condominium Urban Renewal LLC is the developer behind the proposals, which are now being reviewed by the Jersey City Planning Board.
Construction has topped out on 270 Johnston Avenue, a 24-story residential tower in Jersey City’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects and GRT Architecture and developed by Alpine Residential and Fields Grade, the structure will yield 169 rental units, a collection of amenity spaces, a small parking lot, and roughly 9,000 square feet of retail spread across the ground and second floors.

Designed by HWKN Architecture and Handel Architects and developed by Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors, the structure is the final component in the three-tower complex that anchors the western edge of the Jersey City skyline. Tower 3 will feature the same architectural design as its two completed siblings and will rise the second highest, adding 600 more rental apartments to the total inventory. AJD Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located by the three-way intersection of Summit, Pavonia, and Central Avenues.
Jersey City mayor Steven Fulop has revealed new details for a three-acre public park at 567 Pavonia Avenue in Journal Square, New Jersey. Known as Courthouse Park, the space will debut as the neighborhood’s largest public park.
