Rendering Unveiled for C3D Architecture’s 618 Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City

Renderings have been released for the third and final phase of Namdar Group‘s three-tower, 777-unit mixed-use development in Journal SquareJersey City. Designed by C3D Architecture, 618 Pavonia Avenue will join the 20-story 26 Cottage Street and the 27-story 26-28 Van Reipen Avenue, all high rises connected by Homestead Plaza, a pedestrian plaza within walking distance of the PATH station. 618 Pavonia Avenue is set to rise 293 feet and 27 stories.

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop this week announced that all litigation between the city, Kushner Companies, and the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency has concluded. A long-planned renovation of Jersey City‘s historic Loew’s Theatre may finally gain momentum following a request for proposals announced by Mayor Steven M. Fulop. The new RFP arrives as a collaboration between city officials and local non-profit agency Friends of Loew’s. As outlined by the RFP, the goal of the project is to substantially renovate and restore the gilded interiors of iconic structure and fully realize its potential to become a significant cultural venue.

Renderings Revealed for 20-Story High-Rise at 26 Cottage Street, in Journal Square

Renderings have been revealed for the upcoming high-rise at 26 Cottage Street in Jersey City’s Journal Square. Located mid-block between Summit Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, the new development will rise 223 feet high in a low-scale residential neighborhood within walking distance to the Path train. The 20-story 26 Cottage Street is one of three towers in development by the Namdar Group, a Long Island-based developer. The other two are 35 Cottage Street across the street and 26-28 Van Reipen Avenue on the next block to the south. C3D Architecture is responsible for the design.
