Karl Fisher‘s most recent design has officially topped off in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Vitre, located at 302 East 96th Street stands 21 stories tall and will eventually contain 48 condominium residences. When fully complete, the structure will comprise a total 75,995 square feet including 2,185 square feet of ground floor retail area. The latest update comes from Tectonic.
The transition zone between East Harlem and the Upper East Side is booming with new developments, and just last week, YIMBY featured an update on 1399 Park Avenue, on the corner of East 104th Street, which is close to topping-out. Today, we have another update by Tectonic on 302 East 96th Street, several blocks to the southeast, where superstructure work is also close to completion.
North Williamsburg’s industrial zone has become a forest of high-end hotels, from the Wythe Hotel, a converted, turn-of-the-century factory, to the futuristic William Vale, which opened in September.
