GID Development Group has officially launched apartment leasing within Waterline Square, a five-acre development that includes a trio of distinct high-rise buildings and lush landscaping throughout. The $2.3 billion development is perched along the Hudson River on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and was designed by a world class team of architects including Rafael Viñoly, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and Richard Meier.
The 68-story, 720-foot-tall skyscraper Brooklyn Point is on pace for its 2020 debut as work on its façade is wrapping up in Downtown Brooklyn. The Extell development also known as 138 Willoughby Street is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, and is part of the third and final phase of the City Point complex. Closings for the 458 residential units, which range from studios to three-bedroom units, are expected to begin early next year with pricing starting at $850,000. AD 100 designer Katherine Newman is in charge of the interior design.
YIMBY got a sneak peek of the views from One Vanderbilt‘s future three-story, indoor and outdoor observatory, which is situated 1,020 feet above Midtown East. The upcoming 77-story supertall office skyscraper is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by SL Green. The tapering steel structure will soon terminate in a staggered, illuminated crown topped with an architectural spire that will push the project’s total height to 1,401 feet.
Work on 15, 30, and 35 Hudson Yards in the first phase of Related Companies’ master plan is wrapping up, as the construction elevator hoists on the exterior of the skyscrapers are in the process of being dismantled. New York-based developer Extell has surpassed another milestone for 138 Willoughby Street, aka Brooklyn Point, in Downtown Brooklyn. Construction workers have now lifted and assembled the steel frame for the highest residential infinity-edge pool in the western hemisphere. The 27-foot-long pool is now in place on the roof deck of the 68-story, 720-foot-tall skyscraper, part of the third and final phase of the City Point complex.
