Revealed: KPF’s Design for The Collegiate School’s New 62nd Street Campus

At the end of 2014, YIMBY posted the first renderings for the Collegiate Campus’ expansion at 301 Freedom Place South, between West 61st and 62nd Streets in the new Riverside Center development, which was initially set to be designed by Gluck+. Since then, Kohn Pedersen Fox has replaced Gluck+ as the design architect, and we now have the first rendering of what the building will actually look like.

New Renderings Show Fresh Views of One Vanderbilt

SL Green’s planned tower next to Grand Central is making significant headway, and demolition for the site’s former buildings is already ongoing. 45 East 22nd Street Quickly Climbing Into Midtown South Skyline

Out of all the towers currently under construction in Manhattan, the most significantly relative to its surrounding neighborhood is likely 45 East 22nd Street. The Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed building will eventually stand 777 feet tall, but it’s already poking above the local concrete jungle, and its sloped cantilever is also now obvious, per the latest from Tectonic.
