Exterior work is moving along on The Prime, a 120,000-square-foot mixed-use project at 22-43 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Progress has been gradual since our last update in September, when the 11-story building had just recently topped out. Designed by SRA Architecture + Engineering and developed by Circle F, the structure features a curtain wall composed of a contrasting mix of white and gray paneling, which his now almost complete. Ryan Serhant of The Serhant Team and Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York fame is marketing the 71 residences, which feature interior design by Andres Escobar of Lemay + Escobar and will average around 900 square feet apiece.

The 130,000-square-foot project is designed by Isaac & Stern Architects and developed by Nortco Development, which purchased the plot and 27,500 square feet of development rights for $28.5 million four years ago. Lemay + Escobar is responsible for the interior design and the Krantz + Krantz Team of Halstead Development Marketing is handling sales for the 71 units, which will consist of studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts.
The scaffolding and black netting that has shrouded Hillrose 28, aka 157-161 East 28th Street in the Manhattan neighborhood of Kips Bay, is coming down. The facade is finally being revealed, starting with the stepped upper floors and roof parapet. C3D Architecture is the project designer, Lemay + Escobar is the interior designer, and Forkosh Development is the developer of the topped-out, 191-foot-tall, 20-story property. Corcoran Sunshine is in charge of marketing and selling the 43 residential units, which comprises 66,125 square feet of space in the development.
Exterior work is underway at 157-161 East 28th Street, aka Hillrose 28, a topped-out 20-story building in the Midtown neighborhood of Kips Bay. Located at the northern corner of East 28th Street and Third Avenue, the residential project stands 191 feet tall and contains 66,125 square feet of space spread across 43 units. C3D Architecture is the project designer, Lemay + Escobar is the interior designer, and Forkosh Development is the developer of the property. Corcoran Sunshine is in charge of marketing and selling the residences.
Renovation work is progressing on the Watermark at Brooklyn Heights at 21 Clark Street. Developed in collaboration by Watermark Retirement Communities and Kayne Anderson Real Estate, the project will debut as senior housing with 275 newly renovated residences. Located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, the 16-story, 310,000-square-foot property was originally constructed in 1928 as the Leverich Towers Hotel. In 1975, Watchtower purchased the property as housing for its local Jehovah Witness volunteer force and began to restore the intricate architectural features that defined the building.
