Affordable Housing Lottery Launches for 302 East 2nd Street in East Village, Manhattan

The affordable housing lottery has launched for East Village Homes, a 14-story mixed-use building at 302 East 2nd Street in Manhattan’s East Village. Designed by Leroy Street Studio Architecture and developed by New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the structure yields 44 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 36 units for residents at 50 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $32,229 to $180,460.

90 Morton Street Opens for Occupancy in the West Village

Construction has reached full completion at 90 Morton Street, a 12-story condominium building in the West Village. Designed by Asaf Gottesman of Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture and developed by Brack Capital Real Estate, the 150-foot-tall project involved a rooftop addition on an eight-story industrial building that once housed a printing warehouse. The structure yields 122,000 square feet with interior design by Marc Turkel of Leroy Street Studio. Reuveni Real Estate is leading sales and marketing of the 35 units, which hit the market in April 2018 with prices starting at $5.3 million.

Completion Imminent For 90 Morton Street, as YIMBY Revisits Its Skyline Views, in the West Village

Construction is now wrapping up at 90 Morton Street, in the West Village, and closings are about to commence for its 35 residences. The building was once an abandoned, eight-story printing warehouse, but has now been transformed into a 122,000-square-foot, twelve-story condominium project. Asaf Gottesman of Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture is the designer, while Marc Turkel of Leroy Street Studio is head of interior designs. Brack Capital Real Estate is the developer of the 150-foot-tall structure, while Reuveni Real Estate is leading sales and marketing. Sales began in April 2018, with prices for the homes starting at $5.3 million.

Permits have been filed for a 14-story, affordable housing apartment building at 302 East 2nd Street in East Village, Manhattan. Located between Avenue C and Avenue D, the vacant lot is just off major thoroughfare East Houston Street. The Delancey Street subway station, serviced by the F train, is ten city blocks away. New York City’s Housing Preservation and Development agency is responsible for the applications.
