Twin Three-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming To 25 Burgher Avenue, Dongan Hills, Staten Island

Staten Island-based Palermo Construction Corp. has filed applications for two three-story, two-family houses at 25-29 Burgher Avenue, in Dongan Hills, a neighborhood located along Staten Island’s East Shore. The buildings will measure 3,281 square feet each, and across both, the residential units should average a family-sized 1,339 square feet apiece. Each building will come with a 262-square-foot, single-car garage. Lo Bue & Valenziano, a Staten Island-based architecture firm, is the architect of record. The 75-foot-wide, 8,072-square-foot property is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in April.

Two Three-Story, Two-Family Houses Planned At 47 Atlantic Avenue, Dongan Hills, Staten Island

Staten Island-based property owner Joseph Palermo has filed applications for two three-story, two-family residential buildings at 47-53 Atlantic Avenue, in Dongan Hills, located seven blocks from the neighborhood’s Staten Island Railway station. Each of them will measure 4,000 square feet. In each, there will be one apartment unit on the ground floor and a second unit spanning across the second and third floors. The smaller units should average roughy 1,000 square feet and the larger apartments should measure roughly 2,000 square feet. Emanuel Lo Bue’s Staten Island-based Lo Bue & Valenziano is the applicant of record. The 100-foot-wide plot of land is currently occupied by a two-story house, which for which demolition permits were filed back in November.

Staten Island-based Joseph Palermo has filed applications for two three-story, two-family houses at 153-157 David Street, in Eltingville, on Staten Island’s southern shore. Each structure will measure 2,674 square feet in total, which works out to family-sized units averaging 1,337 square feet each. Emanuel Lo Bue’s Staten Island-based Lo Bue Valenziano is the applicant of record. The existing single-story home was demolished in October.

The development will net a total 14,687 square feet, with four homes measuring roughly 3,000 square feet and two at 1,400 square feet. Staten Island-based Lo Bue & Valenziano is the architect of record, and the plot of land is currently vacant.
