5Pointz-Replacing 22-44 Jackson Avenue’s 1,115 New Apartments Nearing Completion in Long Island City, Queens

They are the largest addition to the Long Island City residential market, and they’re nearing completion. The two towers located at 22-44 Jackson Avenue have long since topped out, and are now barreling toward opening day when they can finally add 1,115 residencies to the neighborhood. The project is housed on the former site of 5Pointz, a cultural significant structure that exhibited some incredible street art. G&M Realty is responsible for the development.

The site is not far from the action in the neighborhood, being just three blocks away from the 21st Street subway station, serviced by the F trains, and five blocks away is the Queensboro Plaza subway station, serviced by the 7, N, and W trains. Rong Dong is listed as behind the applications.

Renderings Revealed for Regal-Retail Complex at 38-01 Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, Queens

Construction is imminent on a new twelve-story mixed-use building at 38-01 Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, Queens, and today YIMBY has the first renderings for the project. SBLM Architects is responsible for designing the building, dubbed The Sunnyside. The façade has a mix of curtain wall and steel paneling throughout, employing a blend of various architectural styles.
