Permits have been filed for two six-story residential buildings, at 416 Lenox Avenue and 2371 8th Avenue, in Harlem. TCX Development is developing both projects, and ARC Architecture + Design Studio is designing.
Barnard College announced plans to build a new 11-story library and academic center to replace the existing Lehman Hall back in 2014, estimating the project would cost $150 million. Delancey Street Associates has launched leasing for 350,000 square feet of office space in Essex Crossing. This will be the first significant block of Class-A office space to come to Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and the developers hope the quasi-historic surrounds and combination of new and existing retail will be enough to lure tenants.
