Construction Resumes at 540 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn

Work has resumed on 540 Fulton Street, a 511-foot-tall, 42-story, mixed-use skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Construction had been suspended since February, when stop work orders were issued due to alleged safety concerns at the site. The mixed-use residential project is being designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management. The reinforced concrete tower will yield about 330,000 square feet, with nearly 96,600 square feet to be allocated to commercial space on the lower floors. The remainder will be reserved for residences and measure about 236,900 square feet.

One Clinton Street Tops Out Above Brooklyn Heights

One Clinton Street aka 280 Cadman Plaza West recently topped out at 36 stories over Brooklyn Heights. The mixed-use residential building is being designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Hudson Companies. The 295,000-square-foot project will include 134 residential units and One Clinton Street Library, a new public library that is replacing the former Brooklyn Heights Library. The tower is situated on a triangular-shaped plot at the confluence of Clinton Street, Tillary Street, and Cadman Plaza West. At 409 feet, it is currently the tallest structure in the neighborhood.

Pilings and Excavation Begin at 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Three piling machines and two excavators have been set up at 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The upcoming 343,788-square-foot, mixed-use building will rise 26 stories and bring 323 rental units to the neighborhood. The property sits at the corner of Dean Street and Sixth Avenue and is directly to the east of Barclays Center. Marvel Architects is the designer and the Brodsky Organization is the developer. An updated rendering was also posted on the construction fence. The project is alternately addressed 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street.

City Agencies Announce Affordable Housing Complex at Contentious Broadway Triangle Site in Brooklyn

In a recent announcement, New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) revealed a multi-phase affordable housing development in Brooklyn. Known as Broadway Triangle, the wedge-shaped plot of land sits at the intersection of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Bedford-Stuyvesant and will eventually give rise to a five-building housing complex for low-income households and the formerly homeless.

The Loketch Group Announces Townhouse Development in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

The Loketch Group and Marvel Architects have again teamed up on a new low-rise residential development in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Located at 444 Vanderbilt Avenue, the new, three-story property will include seven neighboring townhomes, each measuring approximately 4,000 square feet. The homes also include private parking.

Renderings Revealed for 445 Vanderbilt Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

The Loketch Group has released renderings of a new, five-story rental development at 445 Vanderbilt Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The structure will contain 44,875 square feet of residential area, an enclosed parking structure, and a 64-foot-long rear yard.

Permits have been filed for a five-story apartment building at 443 Vanderbilt Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Located between Gates Avenue and Greene Avenue, the through lot is close to the Clinton-Washington Avenue subway station, serviced by the C train. Pinny Loketch of the Loketch Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Leasing Commences at The Pierrepont in Brooklyn Heights

Leasing at The Pierrepont has officially begun. The upcoming residential building is located at 146 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights, between Clinton Street and Cadman Plaza West. The mixed-use tower will have 90 boutique apartment units as well as 6,000 square feet of retail space. Designed by Marvel Architects, it is being developed by Jonathan Rose Companies, Bedrock Real Estate Partners, JD Capital USA, and Nuveen Real Estate. Interiors are being designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture.

Downtown Brooklyn‘s ever-expanding skyline is set for yet another major imminent addition with the impending rise of 540 Fulton Street. Set to stand 511 feet tall with 327 residential units, the tower will certainly make an impact on the surrounding neighborhood. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management, the 42-story project will span close to 333,000 square feet. One Clinton Officially Launches Sales in Brooklyn Heights

Located across from Cadman Plaza Park, One Clinton has officially launched sales of its 133 residences. Developed by The Hudson Companies Inc., the Marvel Architects-designed tower is being marketed by the Cornell Marshall Team from the Corcoran Group, with the sales gallery located at 157 Remsen Street. The imminently 38-story tower is set to be completed next year.
