Marx Realty has announced an extensive renovation project at 545 Madison Avenue to modernize the Midtown office building. The scope of work includes an overhaul of the lobby, creation of pre-built tenant suites on the third and 14th floors, and the construction of 5,000 square feet of new amenity spaces. According to representatives from the company, total construction costs for the project hover around $24 million and represent the growing demand for offices with hospitality-oriented amenities.
Following an extensive lobby and façade renovation for 10 Grand Central at 155 East 44th Street in Midtown East, Marx Realty will soon debut a collection of office suites on the top floors of the commercial tower. Located on floors 32 through 36, “The Penthouse Collection” can be configured as 5,000-square-foot single-floor leases or combined into a 10,000-square-foot duplex space or a 15,000-square-foot triplex office.
Commercial developer Marx Realty has returned with the first completed images of its newly branded office tower at 10 Grand Central. The $45 million project entails a redesign and repositioning of the building’s lobby away from its original 44th Street location to provide more immediate access to Grand Central Terminal.
Renderings are out for a new look coming to 155 East 44th Street. The office building’s entrance and lobby will be redesigned to resemble a welcoming environment, along with the lounge, terrace, and modernized pre-war offices. The 35-story office building, designed by Ely Jacque Kahn, will be renamed 10 Grand Central, in recognition of being located within Midtown’s Grand Central Submarket area.
