PENN 2’s Renovations Continue at 2 Penn Plaza in Midtown, Manhattan

Renovation work is progressing on PENN 2, a 31-story commercial building at Two Penn Plaza in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by MdeAS Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, the project involves the full re-cladding and interior modernization of the 412-foot-tall, 1.61-million-square-foot mid-century office building, and is part of the ten-skyscraper Penn District revitalization plan. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located along Seventh Avenue between West 31st and 33rd Streets, directly adjacent to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.

RXR Celebrates Completion of One Clinton Park in Downtown New Rochelle

Construction is now complete on One Clinton Park, a 28-story mixed-use tower at 55 Clinton Place in downtown New Rochelle. Designed by PS&S and MdeAS Architects and developed by RXR Realty, the structure yields 352 rental units in one- to three-bedroom floor plans as well as ground-floor retail space. All of the units come with smart home technology, washer and dryer, and access to a full suite of amenities.

2 Bryant Park’s Renovation Nears Completion in Midtown, Manhattan

Work is wrapping up on Two Bryant Park, a 15-story commercial building at 1100 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by MdeAS Architects and developed by Brookfield Properties in [partnership with The Swig Company, the project involves the replacement of the dark mid-century façade with a modern glass curtain wall, renovation of the building’s 386,190 square feet of interiors, and a revamped public plaza. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the property, which is located on Sixth Avenue between West 42nd and 43rd Streets, directly across from Bryant Park.

Renovation work continues to progress on PENN 2, a 31-story commercial building at Two Penn Plaza in Midtown. Designed by MdeAS Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, the project involves the replacement of the 53-year-old structure’s façade with a modern glass curtain wall. The 412-foot-tall, 1.61 million-square-foot tower was originally designed by Charles Luckman Associates and stands along Seventh Avenue between West 31st and 33rd Streets. PENN 2 is immediately to the east of Madison Square Garden and is one component within the Penn District revitalization scheme that calls for the construction and redevelopment of several buildings surrounding Penn Station in the coming years. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the project.
