Major Renovation Project Revealed for 1345 Avenue of The Americas in Midtown, Manhattan

Earlier this week, Fisher Brothers Management Company unveiled the first new images of its $120 million renovation to 1345 Avenue of the Americas, a 625-foot-tall mid-century office skyscraper in Midtown. The improvements include a Wi-Fi-enabled public park with large-scale art installations, upgrades to the lobby, and the addition of a conference and amenity floor.

A recently completed Environmental Assessment Study reveals detailed floor plans and scope of renovation for the historic Windemere Building in Hell’s Kitchen. Located at 400 West 57th Street on Ninth Avenue, the property was constructed in 1881 by developer Henry Sterling Goodale and is recognized as the area’s first large multi-family apartment complex.

Excavation is imminent at 308 West 43rd Street in Midtown West, the site of a planned 401-foot-tall tower. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Taconic Partners under 311 West 42nd Street Associates, the 32-story mixed-use building will rise between Eighth and Ninth Avenues directly across across West 42nd Street and the northern wing of the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
