March and White Design (MAWD) is serving as the interior designer for the senior homes at the building, which rises from a 17,280-square-foot L-shaped plot at the corner of Tenth Avenue and West 35th Street.
Construction has topped out on 202 East 23rd Street, a 20-story residential building in Kips Bay, Manhattan. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by SMA Equities, the 90,000-square-foot structure is being built to Passive House standards and will yield 108 units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with 28 of the apartments designated for affordable housing. KSK Construction Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of East 23rd Street and Third Avenue.
Exterior work is wrapping up on FÖRENA, a 12-story residential building at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, the 80,000-square-foot structure will yield 50 units in one- to three-bedroom layouts marketed by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund Gomes Team and The Tuinstra Davis Team at Douglas Elliman, with pricing starting at $1.575 million. Ryder Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue.

Designed by MdeAS Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, the project involves the interior overhaul and re-cladding of the 412-foot-tall, 1.61 million-square-foot structure, as well as the construction of a multi-story cantilevering addition. PENN 2 is one component in the Penn District revitalization scheme that calls for the erection and redevelopment of several buildings surrounding Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located along Seventh Avenue between West 31st and 33rd Streets.

Nuveen Real Estate, the current owner of the building, has invested roughly $40 million to create what it calls a “green oasis” for new and existing tenants.
