J Frankl Associates has released renderings for a new eight-story mixed-use property in Borough Park, Brooklyn following the issuance of permits from the New York City Department of Buildings. Located on a corner lot at 5501 New Utrecht Avenue, the reinforced concrete structure will feature an industrial-style brick and metal façade, and a large setback above the sixth floor for an outdoor terrace and additional residential area.
Construction is now underway at 540 Sixth Avenue, a 12-story mixed-use building in Chelsea, Manhattan. The property is located between 14th and 15th Streets and will eventually comprise 80,000 square feet.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 289 Hudson Street in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Located on the corner of Spring Street and Hudson Street, the lot is two blocks west of the Spring Street subway station, serviced by the C and E trains. Ponte Equities is listed as the owner behind the applications.
25 Park Row‘s curtain wall is continuing to rise and wrap around the balconies and upper floors of the 702-foot-tall Financial District skyscraper, the 27th tallest structure in our annual YIMBY countdown. The 50-story mixed-use project is designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners, along with the family behind J&R Music World. Sales for the 110 residences are ongoing and are being handled by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
Construction has wrapped up on 80 East 10th Street, a 26,000-square-foot mixed-use building in the East Village. The ten-story mixed-use building is designed by NAVA Companies and developed by Parametric Development Group. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is responsible for sales of the 12 condominiums, which include a five-bedroom spread. Each home averages 2,000 square feet and range from $4.15 to $8.25 million. Cushman & Wakefield is marketing the ground-floor retail space, which has yet to find a tenant.
