Reveal For Six-Story, 10-Unit Mixed-Use Building At 369 Berry Street, Williamsburg

Applications were first filed in early 2014 for a six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot of 369 Berry Street, in western Williamsburg, and now Brownstoner has spotted renderings of the project. The building will total 13,490 square feet, which includes 2,383 and 2,627 square feet of commercial and community space, respectively; apartments will average 850 square feet. M&B Monroe Inc. is developing, while Charles Mallea is the architect of record.


45 Broad Street

Madison Equities In Contract For Development Site At 45 Broad Street, Financial District

In January of 2014, YIMBY brought you news that 45 Broad Street, in the Financial District, was placed on the market. Now the property is in contract, and Madison Equities, partnering with AMS Acquisitions, is the buyer. The price — expected to be north of $100 million — has not been disclosed. The site has 265,000 square feet of development rights, and a 62-story Nobu Hotel was planned prior to the 2008 financial crisis.


25-34 Steinway Street

Four-Story, 10-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed At 25-34 Steinway Street, Astoria

Mark Misk, head of Nikomar Homes, has filed applications for a four-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 25-34 Steinway Street, in central Astoria, located 10 blocks from the N/Q train’s 30 Avenue stop. The building will measure 14,280 square feet in total, featuring 4,755 square feet of retail space on the ground floor; residential units will average an accommodating 952 square feet each. Chris Papa’s CVP Architect is the applicant of record, and an existing two-story building must first be demolished.


2255 Broadway

New Building Likely Planned At 2255 Broadway, Upper West Side

The three-story commercial building spanning 2251-2259 Broadway, at West 81st Street on the Upper West Side, is expected to be demolished to make way for a new development, according to West Side Rag. The retail tenants are currently in the relocation process, and developer Alchemy Properties is leasing the property from the owner. Building applications and demolition permits have not been filed yet, although the property’s unused air rights were subdivided from the existing structure in April.
