Exterior Work Nears Completion on Morris Adjmi Architects’s 520 West 20th Street in Chelsea

The exterior of The Warehouse, aka 520 West 20th Street, is getting closer to completion in West Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Elijah Equities, the mixed-use office development is located close to the High Line between West 19th Street and West 20th Street. The project features the restored 50-foot-tall brick façade of a former industrial building topped by a new suspended and cantilevering steel structure that brings the total height to 105 feet.

Exterior Work Nearing Completion for Morris Adjmi’s 30 East 31st Street, in NoMad

30 East 31st Street’s exterior work is inching closer to completion, as installation of the light-colored panels in between the windows on the bottom of the northern elevation is now underway. Located in NoMad between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 479-foot-tall residential tower is topped-out at 40 stories, and the crossed beams at the top of the podium will soon be encased with the newly arrived panels. The 88,000-square-foot project is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate. Douglas Elliman Development is marketing the building’s 42 units, which will be spread across 70,070 square feet for an average of 1,700 square feet apiece. Prices will range from $1.65 to $12 million.

Work is getting nearer to completion at The Warehouse, aka 520 West 20th Street, a mixed-use office development in West Chelsea. Exterior work at 30 East 31st Street is making steady progress in NoMad. Located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 479-foot-tall residential tower is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate. The distinctive pattern of crossed beams at the top of the building will soon be enclosed with floor-to-ceiling glass. FAA Permits Submitted for 841-Foot-Tall Tower at 30 Journal Square, in Jersey City

Permits have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for work on 30 Journal Square, a proposed 841-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Jersey City. Located at the southern corner of Slip Avenue and Bergen Avenue, the project is being designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Kushner Companies, which acquired the site for $3.575 million in 2013. The permits filed are for work between December 2019 and December 2022, so activity at the site could begin by the end of the year.
