Construction has started on Park Haven Apartments, a new mixed-income apartment complex in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located at the corner of East 142nd Street and St. Ann’s Avenue, the ten-story building includes 178 residential units, a ground-level grocery store, and community facilities.
Brookfield Properties has officially announced its Bankside mixed-use project in Mott Haven, near the southern tip of The Bronx. The development includes seven residential buildings, 34,000 square feet of public waterfront space along the Harlem River, 15,000 square feet of retail, and a mix of community facilities.
Samaritan Daytop Village and Manatus Development Group recently broke ground on The Richard Pruss Wellness Center in the Mott Haven section of The Bronx. The community facility will provide outpatient treatment for substance use disorder, mental health services, care coordination, and also serve as a primary health clinic.
Plans for a Hampton Inn at 110 East 149th Street in The Bronx have been scrapped according to new designs revealed by Dattner Architects. The forthcoming development will instead debut as a mixed-use commercial structure comprised of ground-floor retail with five floors of office area above. The building will top out at six stories and is expected to debut by 2020.
Permits have been filed for a 15-story residential building at 180 East 132nd Street in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located between Lincoln Avenue and Alexander Avenue, the lot is closest to the 3rd Avenue-138th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Isaac Feuerwerger of Carnegie Management Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
