A trio of big-name developers has launched leasing at 360 Huguenot, a 28-story, mixed-use development at 360 Huguenot Street in downtown New Rochelle. A collaboration by RXR Realty, ABS Partners, and Brause Realty, the new building contains 280 rentals, 14,000 square feet of retail, and a 10,000-square-foot arts and culture space.
The development team behind 14 LeCount Place in New Rochelle has successfully lined up $190 million in construction financing to complete the mixed-use development. Located in the heart of downtown New Rochelle, the 457,000-square-foot project will eventually yield 380 residential units, 6,000 square feet of retail space, a parking garage, and amenity areas.
The Westchester City Planning Board has greenlit the development of Tryp Hotel by Wyndam at 115 Cedar Street in downtown New Rochelle. The 24-story hotel will contain 225 short stay rooms in addition to a flexible event center.
Work has officially begun on The Huguenot, one of latest developments to begin construction as part of an initiative to transform and reinvigorate downtown New Rochelle. From developer CAC Realty Group, the property is located at 387 Huguenot Street and will eventually contain a mix of residential area, retail space, and a community-operated art gallery. The structure will top off at six stories and measure approximately 54,000 square feet.
Downtown New Rochelle may soon have an interesting addition to its skyline as plans were recently filed for a 48-story skyscraper at 11 Lawton Street. In addition to the 605-foot tower, the site will also house a separate 23-story hotel building. As reported in the New York YIMBY forums, this will be the largest mixed-use development project in the city’s history if approved later this month at the Planning Board meeting.
