Five-Story, 29-Unit Residential Building Coming To 73-02 Woodside Avenue, in Elmhurst

Tim Chan, operating under an Elmhurst-based LLC, has filed applications for a five-story, 29-unit mixed-use building at 73-02 Woodside Avenue, in northern Elmhurst. Located two blocks from 74th Street/Broadway stop on the E, F, M, R and 7 trains, the 27,285 square-foot building will have a 1,928-square-foot health care facility in the basement level. Residential units above will average 875 square feet each. Flushing-based Chang Hwa Tan is the architect of record, and three buildings must first be demolished.

In October 2014, YIMBY revealed renderings of a multi-block, nearly 1.2-million square-foot office complex at 68 Ferris Street, in Red Hook, and since then, the Milan, Italy-based developer Est4te Four has been assembling the properties for the development. Now, Cushman & Wakefield has been tasked to market a 49% stake in the project, according to Crain’s. 12-Story, 105-Unit Mixed-Use Building Rising At 470 Fourth Avenue, Gowanus

In 2014, YIMBY brought you new renderings of the 12-story, 105-unit mixed-use building planned at 470 4th Avenue/237 11th Street, in Gowanus, and now Brownstoner reports the building is four stories above ground, and rising. Adam America, Slate Property Group and Naveh Shuster Group are developing, while Aufgang Architects is designing. The project, located a block from subway stops for the F, G and R trains, will include 5,260 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, and a 2017 completion date appears likely.
