Exterior work is continuing to take shape at One Boerum Place, a 21-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the project will yield 122 units and is expected to cost around $250 million.
Construction is now two floors above ground at 30-60 Front Street, a 26-story mixed-use building in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, the 270-foot-tall project will yield 74 apartments, averaging 2,400 square feet apiece. The site is bound by Front Street to the north, Washington Street to the nearby east, and York Street to the south.
Construction has topped out at 22 Chapel Street, a 20-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Delshah Capital and OTL Enterprises, the 211-foot-tall structure spans 133,181 square feet and will yield 180 apartments, of which 25 will be designated for affordable housing. 22 Chapel Street will also be the home of START Treatment & Recovery Centers, New York’s largest independent drug treatment agency.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 26 Sherman Avenue in Fort George, Manhattan. Located between Sickles Street and Arden Street, the interior lot is near the Dyckman Street subway station, serviced by the A train. Shloime Gross under the 26 Sherman Residence LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Façade installation is steadily progressing at 540 Fulton Street, a 511-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management, the project will yield 327 residential units, as well as 71,844 square feet of commercial space and 22,054 square feet of retail on the lower podium floors. The residences will take up about 239,142 square feet of the total 330,00 square feet.
