Renderings Revealed for The Eliza, Library & Affordable Housing at 4790 Broadway, Inwood

Large developments don’t often come to the blocks of Broadway as it snakes through Upper Manhattan, but today YIMBY has an update on 4790 Broadway, which we first covered back in January of 2017. Since then, the City has moved forward with development plans, selecting Fogarty Finger and Andrew Berman Architects to design the project, now revealed through official renderings.

Permits have been pre-filed for a 16-story mid-rise as part of a larger mega-development at 2926 West 19th Street, Coney Island, Brooklyn, which YIMBY first revealed back in January. The site is five blocks away from the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station, serviced by the D, F, N, and Q trains, and right across the street from a multi-purpose baseball ballpark.

Viñoly-Designed 277 Fifth Avenue Officially Tops Out At 55 Floors and 663 Feet in NoMad

The Rafael Viñoly-designed 277 Fifth Avenue, in NoMad, has officially topped out. Our last look at the tower was on December 26th, 2017, when we were given a tour of the sales gallery and the 46th floor, which at that time, was the highest level. With the superstructure now spanning its full 55 stories, about twenty floors of cladding remain before the exterior is complete.
