A Queens-based property owner has filed applications for twin two-story, two-family houses at 111-36 and 111-38 122nd Street, in South Ozone Park. The new structures will measure 3,340 square feet each. Across both, the residential units should average 1,087 square feet apiece, indicative of apartments with family-sized configurations. Each house will also come with two off-street parking spaces. Akeeb B. Shekoni’s Jamaica-based Askon Architects is the architect of record. The 6,000-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in November.

Brooklyn-based Cardinal Properties has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 122 Huron Street, in Greenpoint. The project will measure 7,930 square feet and its residential units should average 798 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Wieslawa Jasiulewicz Majran’s Glendale, N.Y.-based firm is the architect of record. The 28-foot-wide, 2,792-square-foot lot is occupied by a three-story townhouse. Demolition permits have not been filed.

Four-Story, 10-Unit Residential Building Planned at 1544 Nostrand Avenue, Flatbush

A Brooklyn-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, 10-unit residential building at 1544 Nostrand Avenue, in Flatbush. The project will measure 8,893 square feet and its residential units should average 889 square feet apiece. Two apartments on the fourth floor will also feature space in an upper penthouse level. It’s unclear whether the units will be rentals or condominiums. Michael Avramides’s Midtown East-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 3,285-square-foot site is occupied by a three-story residential structure. Demolition permits were recently filed.
