Five-Story, 16-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed at 24 Wilson Avenue, Bushwick

An anonymous Brooklyn-based incorporation has filed applications for a five-story, 16-unit mixed-use building at 24 Wilson Avenue, in eastern Bushwick. The project will measure 16,738 square feet and include 1,372 square feet of medical offices on the ground floor. The second through fifth floors will contain residential units, which should average 686 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals. There will also be 10 off-street parking spaces. Dezhang Fang’s Flushing-based architectural firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,000-square-foot assemblage is occupied by two single-story commercial buildings. Demolition permits were filed in September.


2061 Narragansett Avenue

Two Two-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 2061 Narragansett Avenue, Morris Park

A Bronx-based property owner has filed applications for two two-story, two-family houses at 2061-2065 Narragansett Avenue, in the East Bronx’s Morris Park section. The buildings will measure 4,527 square feet and 5,530 square feet, respectively. Across both structures, the residential units should average 1,757 square feet apiece, indicative of family-sized configurations. Each house will also come with two off-street parking spaces. Jorge Lee’s Bronx-based Architectural Solutions is the architect of record. The 75-foot-wide, 9,375-square-foot property was occupied by a two-story house that was demolished over the summer.

985-Foot-Tall, 2.9-Million-Square-Foot Office Tower 50 Hudson Yards Lands Anchor Tenant

After two years of negotiations, Related Companies has reached a deal to lease 15 contiguous floors, or 850,000 square feet, to BlackRock, the investment management corporation, at its planned 2.9-million-square-foot, 985-foot-tall office tower 50 Hudson Yards. The building is located along Tenth Avenue, between West 33rd and 34th streets, in the Hudson Yards district.
