The Georgetown Company has announced a new $410 million financing package for their recently completed office building at 787 Eleventh Avenue. According to the company, the investment from Societe Generale (SocGen) replaces a $350 million construction loan from the Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs, and ICBC.
YIMBY has word that Tishman Speyer has finalized lease agreements for all 1.2 million square feet of its recently completed office development known as “The JACX,” in Long Island City. While the property has not officially debuted, the building’s list of tenants includes Macy’s, Inc., New York-Presbyterian, Bloomingdale’s, WeWork, and a primary care practice operated by Weill Cornell Medicine.
In a recent reveal, The Hudson Companies released updated renderings of a new, mixed-use residential project on the rise at 350 Clarkson Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, the building’s 227,000 square feet will comprise 250 market-rate rentals, office space, ground floor retail, and a potential community facility.
Earlier this year, construction kicked off on a new condominium building at 5 Court Square, in Long Island City. Today, the 11-story project has topped-out, with the glass facade about halfway up the structure.
Designed by Studio Gang, the stunning glass facade at 40 Tenth Avenue is now complete. Described as a “solar carve,” the 12-story office building features a chiseled, gem-like curtain wall that was engineered to eliminate shadows.
