Over the past several years, redevelopment of New Brunswick’s downtown renewal district has accelerated at an exciting rate. Premiere Residences is one of the city’s latest projects to debut, where developers unveiled a collection of 207 units perched atop the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.
A new 100-percent affordable housing building designed by Dattner Architects recently broke ground in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Located at 50 Pennsylvania Avenue, the 94-foot-tall structure includes 218 apartments, amenity spaces, and ground floor retail. A portion of the residences will be set aside for the formerly homeless and “frail elderly households.”
Permits have been filed for an environmentally-oriented nine-story mixed-use development at 50 Pennsylvania Avenue, in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks away from the Alabama Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. The Liberty Avenue subway station is also two blocks away, serviced by the C train.
