Demolition permits have been filed for the existing structures at 1297 and 1299 3rd Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, between 74th and 75th Street. The site is three blocks away from the 77th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 and 6 trains, and four blocks away from the 72nd Street subway station, serviced by the Q trains. Continental Ventures is listed as responsible for the demolition.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building with a penthouse at 289 Kosciuszko Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is ten blocks from the Bedford-Nostrand Avenue Station, serviced by the G train, and fourteen blocks away from the Myrtle Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains. The development would fill a vacant lot that’s been in such a condition for over a decade. Premier Equities will be responsible for the development.
Premier Equities and Thor Equities are partnering to develop a 31-story, 100,000-square-foot residential tower at 1297-1299 Third Avenue, located between East 74th and 75th streets on the Upper East Side.
It was back in December that YIMBY told you of Premiere Equities’ plans for a new commercial building at 134 Wooster Street, located between Houston and Price streets in the SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District. Those plans went before the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday and were approved with very little fuss.
Premier Equities is placing on the market an assemblage of five tenement buildings along Third Avenue, between East 74th Street and 75th streets, on the Upper East Side. According to Crain’s, the five-story tenements at 1291-1297 Third Avenue (the corner property also uses the address 201 East 74th Street) and another undisclosed four-story building on 75th Street are being advertised to developers. There’s roughly 115,000 square feet of development potential at the site, although a developer would most likely demolish two of the tenement buildings for a 95,000 square-foot residential tower, according to Meridian Investment Sales, the brokerage firm tasked to sell the properties. The assemblage doesn’t come with an asking price.
