Four-Story Automotive Facility Planned At 30-35 College Point Boulevard, College Point

Nassau County-based Feinstein CP Realty has filed applications for a four-story, 81,532 square-foot automotive commercial building at 30-35 College Point Boulevard, in southern College Point. The building will handle automobile sales, repairs, and other services, and will also hold storage space and associated offices. The nearly 120,000 square-foot lot will include 149 parking spaces, and Maryland-based Penny Design Group is the applicant of record.


41-32 27th Street

Schematic Posted For 15-Story, 46-Unit Residential Project At 41-32 27th Street, Long Island City

Late last year, YIMBY reported on applications for a 15-story hotel at 41-32 27th Street, in Long Island City, and since then, filings have been amended to instead build a 46-unit apartment building. Today, the site has been cleared of its two-story predecessor and almost completely excavated, per The Court Square Blog. The new building will measure 34,409 square feet, which means units will average 748 square feet apiece. A 1,131 square-foot outdoor space is also planned on the roof. Arc Architecture + Design Studio is designing, and completion is expected in early 2017.


147-30 Springfield Lane

Four Two-Family Buildings Coming To 147-30 Springfield Lane, Springfield Gardens

Arkady Zirkiev, doing business under an LLC, has filed applications for four two-family residential buildings at 147-30 – 147-38 Springfield Lane, in Springfield Gardens, immediately northeast of JFK Airport. Each building will be two stories and measure 2,520 square feet, which means the full-floor units will average a spacious 1,260 square feet each. Robert Nasimov’s Rego Park-based R&O Engineering is the applicant of record, and the land is currently vacant.


97-45 63rd Drive

Seven-Story, 50-Unit Mixed-Use Project Filed At 97-45 63rd Drive, Rego Park

Developer Kenny Liu has filed applications for a seven-story, 50-unit mixed-use building at 97-41 – 97-49 63rd Drive, in Rego Park, two blocks from the 63rd Drive/Rego Park stop on the M and R trains. The building will measure 53,209 square feet, which includes 11,929 square feet of health care facilities on the ground and second floor. The residential units will be condominiums and average 825 square feet apiece; two units will feature a eighth-floor penthouse. Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio is the architect of record, and permits were filed this past August to demolish five residential buildings.


29-28 Newtown Avenue

Five-Story, Nine-Unit Residential Building Planned At 29-28 Newtown Avenue, Astoria

John Kivotidis, head of Kivo Realty, has filed applications for a five-story, nine-unit residential building at 29-28 Newtown Avenue, in central Astoria, two blocks from the N and Q trains’ stop at 30th Avenue. The building will total 6,388 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 710 square feet apiece. Sugnam Chang’s Bensonhurst-based Basic Groups Corp. is the applicant of record, and an existing single-story building must first be demolished.
