Permits have been filed for a 151-key hotel at 97-18 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. The site is four blocks from the Sutphin Boulevard subway station, serviced by the E and J trains, and connecting to the JFK AirTrain. The LIRR also runs through the area, at the Jamaica train station three blocks from the site. MP Hospitality is listed as responsible for the development.
Construction has restarted on a nine-story mixed-use structure in Flushing, Queens. Renderings of 146-10 35th Avenue, the development’s official address, have also been revealed to YIMBY as the project once again moves forward.
Permits have been filed for a 19-story mixed-use high rise at 133-25 37th Avenue in Flushing, Queens. The site is six blocks away from the Flushing Main Street subway station, end of the line for the 7 trains, and a large commercial center in its own right. China-based Yihai Property will be responsible for the development.
A new 21-story high-rise is expected to come to Jamaica, as reported by YIMBY yesterday. This is not uncommon for the Queens neighborhood, but 153-19 Jamaica Avenue will be different, and today we have the first renderings for the building. BFC Partners has told YIMBY that all 139 units of the project will let at affordable housing rates. The facilities will also include supportive facilities, managed by New Destiny Housing.

The site is nine blocks away from the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. In the opposite direction is the expansive Flushing Meadows Corona Park, home to the Queens Museum, Zoo, a science center, and stadiums for tennis and baseball.
