Construction is approaching the final floors of the NoMad Ritz Carlton Hotel. Located at 1185 Broadway at the northern intersection of West 28th Street, the reinforced concrete structure will soon top out at 580 feet tall, yielding 150,000 square feet and 250 guest rooms. The 40-story skyscraper is designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties. The interiors are being designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

Completion Expected Next Year for 125 Greenwich Street, in Financial District

Work is almost entirely complete on the reflective curtain wall of 125 Greenwich Street, number 14 in our countdown of the tallest projects under construction in New York City. The only sections awaiting façade work are the podium and the portion where the exterior hoist is still mounted. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by Bizzi & Partners and Vector Group, the slender 88-story residential skyscraper stands 912 feet tall over the Financial District. The 273 residential units are being marketed by Douglas Elliman, while the interiors are designed by March & White. Plaza Construction is the general contractor for the development.

125 Greenwich Street’s Glass Façade Nearing Completion in The Financial District

Façade work is nearing completion at 125 Greenwich Street. Installation of the thin glass panels on the podium of the slender 88-story residential skyscraper is underway. This is the final portion of the curtain wall awaiting completion, apart from the sections behind the construction hoist, which should be disassembled soon.
