Four-Story, 12-Unit Mixed-Use Building Approved at 8 Paterson Avenue, Hoboken

The Hoboken Zoning Board of Adjustment has approved plans for a four-story, 12-unit mixed-use building at 8 Paterson Avenue, located between Jackson and Monroe streets in the southern end of Hoboken, N.J. The project will measure 20,700 square feet, including 930 square feet of ground-floor retail space, Jersey Digs reported. The residential units will be condominiums and will range from two to four bedrooms, measuring between 1,160 and 2,544 square feet apiece.


61 14th Street

Four-Story, Three-Unit Mixed-Use Project Moves Forward at 61 14th Street, Hoboken

Rohit Bawa, a Manhattan-based restauranteur, is developing a four-story, three-unit mixed-use building at 61 14th Street, located between Washington and Hudson streets in the northern end of Hoboken, N.J. There will be a 1,300-square-foot restaurant on the ground floor, followed by three three-bedroom residential units on the floors above. The apartments will each measure about 1,200 square feet and occupy an entire floor. Two of the units will have private roof decks, Jersey Digs reported.


15-22 Murray Street

Twin Two-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 15-22 Murray Street, Whitestone

Whitestone-based FMC Equities has filed applications for twin two-story, two-family houses at 15-22 and 15-24 Murray Street, in Whitestone. The new buildings will measure 3,162 square feet each. Across both, the apartments should average 874 square feet apiece and will be able to accommodate families. There will be a total of four off-street parking spaces, two of which will be located in the cellars of the buildings. Whitestone-based Platonic Solids Architecture is the architect of record. The 7,000-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed earlier this month.


819 Lexington Avenue

Five-Story, 10-Unit Residential Building Planned at 819 Lexington Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant

East Coast Realty has filed applications for a five-story, 10-unit residential building at 819 Lexington Avenue, located on the eastern end of Bedford-Stuyvesant. The project will measure 10,466 square feet and its residential units should average 748 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals. Forest Hills-based ARC Architecture + Design Studio is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 2,500-square-foot lot is occupied by a single-story warehouse. Demolition permits have not been filed at this time.
