Three-Story, Three-Family Residential Building Coming To 35 Monroe Avenue, St. George

Property owner Kaplan Ibraimovic has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 35 Monroe Avenue, in St. George, on Staten Island. The little multi-family home will measure 2,256 square feet, and full-floor units will average a rental-sized 752 square feet apiece. Staten Island-based Frank Vaccaro is the applicant of record, and a recessed garage, originally associated with the neighboring residence, must first be demolished.

Six-Story, 89-Unit Supportive Residential Building Planned At 185 Throop Avenue, Bed-Stuy

Comunilife and Woodhull Medical Center are planning to build a six-story, 89-unit all-affordable residential building at 185 Throop Avenue, at a vacant lot in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant where the medical center is also located. The building will include 53 apartments for people referred by Woodhull and 36 low-income residential units, according to DNAinfo. Brooklyn Community Board 3 recently approved the project, although applications have yet to be filed with the DOB.



30 Belvedere Street

Four-Story, Seven-Unit Residential Building Planned At 30 Belvedere Street, Bushwick

David Salem, doing business as an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 30 Belvedere Street, in northern Bushwick, two blocks before the Myrtle Avenue stop on the J, M and Z trains. The building will total 4,663 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 666 square feet apiece. Boaz Golani’s Bronx-based BMG Design Build is the architect of record, and the lot is currently vacant.


615 10th Avenue

Chinese Developer In Contract For 615 10th Avenue, Hell’s Kitchen

Beijing-based Xinyuan Real Estate, doing business in the United States as XIN Development, is in contract to purchase the development site at 615 10th Avenue, between West 44th and 45th Streets in Hell’s Kitchen. A gas station currently occupies the site, but the property has over 100,000 square feet of development potential. A condominium project is planned, and the site is expected to sell for nearly $60 million.
